a post-trained Qwen3.8-27B model that reinforces Western values.

If you think this is good in any way, you're insane. I don't want models trained to reinforce any values. Fuck off with the brainwashing already. Jesus, what a fucking dystopian world we live in.

Not to mention, if you think Western values are better, I suggest you go to a MAGA rally some day.

Everyone who wants one, has one really. You don’t need a new one all the time, most people just do light browsing on it, nothing fancy required.

Criminals benefit from every new technology that's of any value.

This should actually be our benchmark for any supposedly groundbreaking invention. "Can the thing be used by the criminals in the high risk environment? Then it's probably good enough for me..."

    Only half joking.

  • The fraud scheme ultimately stole more than $129 million from Victim Companies all over the United States and the world, including: (i) $4,829,580 from a hospital system headquartered in Missouri; (ii) $2,684,580 from a bank headquartered in Rhode Island; (iii) $2,968,497 from a hospital system headquartered in California; (iv) $11,578,474 from a financial technology company headquartered in the United Kingdom; (v) $4,639,918 from a mutual fund company headquartered in Massachusetts; and (vi) $5,242,747 from a pet food company headquartered in Florida.

I wish they wouldn't target hospitals, but even then my sympathy for those corporations is limited. Overall I think this is the invisible hand of the free market at work, let 'em go.

I left reddit years ago, but I just checked my county's subreddit recently after some big news happened in my home country. The last post was made 6 days ago, subreddit was basically dead, traffic must be abysmal overall.

    That's disgusting.

    However, this is funny:

The case adds to dozens of others where AI-related errors have plagued court proceedings this year, mostly from people who are not legally qualified representing themselves, and often in employment tribunal cases.

That's got to be hilarious to watch in court

How does one lose $10,000 on a server wipe? Unless you're running this on a mission critical production system, you should be able to restore a backup in what... A couple of hours?

If the $10,000 lost is just "shit I didn't backup" you were gonna lose that anyways without AI's help.
