Still not sure how I feel about him, but if lemmy.ml and Chuck Schumer are both trying to smear him that seems like good indications.

No idea why this wasn't suitable for !meanwhileongrad@sh.itjust.works. it seems obviously to fall under the "general tankie behavior" category and/or the tankie folks trying to weigh in on American politics to depress support for progressive-ish candidates which they periodically do.

Anyway, whatever, it was removed there, and it's posted here now.

And, also, the one that I suspect was more the core of the issue. I have noticed that winning an argument against Cowbee seems to be a big problem from the point of view of some Lemmy admins. Y'all are weird.

(Also, some of them hilariously enough were alleged to have violated: 2. Be respectful, especially when disagreeing. Everyone should feel welcome here.)

Here was the transphobic content I was "defending":

"You guys" meant Hexbear. The full context is a little longer and stupider than that (And the user's comment I was allegedly defending was actually way-out-of pocket aside from the "you guys" part. It was encouraging Hexbear users to commit suicide, but just in a way that had nothing to do with transphobia as far as I can tell.) Anyway that was the "transphobic" part. I suspect that the actual issue was me being extensively rude to Cowbee, and they are lying about what the real issue is and calling things "transphobia" as they often do.

In any case. To quote @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com: "In all honestly it reads to me you’re more upset people are not sufficiently polite in disagreement. Anarchists can and will be rude ... Nobody is under any onus to remain polite to spare your feelings"
