Not really worth the watch. There is no information in this video other than "Mormons don't belive what other Christians do" but with more detail.

There are so many reasons to dislike the mormon church. How food/money donations come with stipulations of conversion or how their leadership turning blind eyes to accusations of sexual assult. Not worth watching unless you are semi curious about what Mormons are taught, which this barely scratches the surface of.

Voter apathy, not everyone votes but the crazies are more motivated to do so generally. Plus conservative brainwashed upbringing =/= religious automatically. Plus the American owned propaganda drip feeds they all consume. They believe enemy state media over their own country. Federal Liberals do nothing to prevent this.

We were about 50/50 last election with Calgary fucking us over with FPTP giving UCP the majority, who are Maple MAGA and aligned with the Christian Heritage Foundation, MAGA, and Christian Nationalists groups like Take Back Alberta. Now we have CIA PsyOP campaigns too as USA tries to destabalise Canada by fueling seperatists.

None of this is organic. The province is heavily manipulated.

A large portion of fault is assigned to Jason Kenney who merged the progressive conservative party with the regressive nutjob party called the Wildrose in order to keep winning elections against a strong centrist "NDP" in name only provincial party. Then he had a tantrum and quit after barely winning a confidence vote as the crazies took over the merged party. Now he speaks out against UCP from the sidelines constantly after getting a golden parachute job with ATCO after he deregulated utilities as if it's not his fault. A very dumb, short sighted corrupt unChrist-like Christian is his legacy. A useful idiot. A man with no history of any women in his life and has a brother who ran a gay conversion "therapy" camp. Jason loved to harass gay couples by trying bar loved ones from seeing their dying partners in hospitals when he was younger.

    https://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recensement/2021/as-sa/fogs-spg/page.cfm?lang=E&topic=10&dguid=2021A000248

Religion: In 2021, the top religious group was Catholic, with about 833,025 persons representing 19.9% of the total population. The second group was Christian, n.o.s., with about 429,380 persons representing 10.3% of the total population. The population who declared no religion and secular perspectives numbered 1,676,045 persons, representing 40.1% of the total population.

    2nd source:

The largest faith in Alberta is Christianity and about half of the Alberta population (48.1%), reported that they were affiliated with a Christian religion. Non-Christian faiths account for 11.8%, and the remaining 40.1% are classified as unaffiliated, which can mean agnostic, atheist, or “nothing in particular.”

With immigration, there were growing proportions of the population who reported religious affiliations other than Christianity. These religions included Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist.

Indigenous and smaller faiths are a minority and account for 1.3% of the Alberta Population

Even after alllll the bullshit, NDP still trails.

That legend and colouring does not make sense to me 70+% catholic red, 20% protestant blue so, couldn't the shade area be done in either colour, and then you have the no religion one with similar opposite range.

I realize it says by largest religion but seems odd in some areas to have 20% as largest religion or non religion and the typical others altogether not making up enough to be 21%.

If I made the rules, I would require all churches to provide beds and food to those in need, or else start paying taxes. But converting theee unused churches into affordable housing would be good too.

I'm in South and have never seen so many churches. Hardly met anyone who goes, let alone who is outwardly religious, so how are these places supporting themselves? Guess the answer is that they're not. Yet they're still building new churches! Just can't get my head around it. Maybe they only need a small percentage of the population coming in to stay afloat?
