‘user space’ refers to everything that is not the kernel, i.e. is running in a manner (ignoring e.g. loading kernel modules) accessible by users. Linux has a long-standing (though often broken) tradition to never break user space in kernel patches. Processes like the init, your system's services, etc. are part of user space despite appearing to be just part of the OS.

Multiple drawings, the files for my website that I'd have to put online, an almost fully edited video, the first draft of a novel, the notes for a second novel, half a folder full of photos I still haven't edited... I'm not upset about not finishing things because they still brought me joy when I was doing them, but I'd love to finish something at some point q-q

I've made peace with not finishing projects. Starting new projects is fun; I usually end up doing the most interesting part, then it gets boring. If finishing it doesn't hold value, it's OK to move on.

It's cool that wolves would indeed solve a lot of these problems. Pollution? Chase people out of factories and they can't pollute anymore. Congress? Eat them. Lose weight? The wolves will chase you, that's cardio! And it works for so many more problems, too. Lost at a video game? Wolves can eat your competition. Train late or car broken? Ride a wolf. Groceries too expensive? Nobody is going to stop you from walking out without paying if you have a horde of wolves with you.
