@atomicpoet Hackers and The Net are two of my favorite computer movies. The tech is basically insane on every level, and feels a bit like the script was written by the prisoners in Plato's Cave, and the tech is based on what they could see reflected off a CRT onto the cave wall. Any connection between the film and real technology is completely accidental, but that doesn't affect the perfection of the film. Plus, Joey smoking two cigarettes at the same time. @movies

Israel's Foreign Affairs has uploaded a video in multiple languages to their YouTube channel and I saw it as an ad on @syncforlemmy "Israel is now facilitating record levels of humanitarian aid into Gaza."The video ends with "Smiles don't lie. Hamas does."2.8 million views. 2.6k likes.0 comments. That feels real.I'm guessing the whole video is AI generated.youtu.be/EjljCurJ0IU?si=Wh8Wab#israel #propaganda

A still frame from a video. The frame has a large truck driving on a road. There is text overlaid that says "Israel is now facilitating record levels of humanitarian aid into Gaza"
