Mostly true, but unless you're doing an impermanence setup, programs still poop random files all over the place. Especially in home and other various places like /var/lib /var/cache.

Honestly, thought this would be the only thing that people would talk about. I can't bring myself to seriously read a blog post about syntax highlighting when presented with such a horrendous color scheme.
