Not a trans girl but I can answer. Wayland is just a library with simple interaction with the display. X11 is a suite of programs for displaying the desktop environment. A Wayland compositor has to implement every utility from X11, that is why it can feel less supported.

X11 has some underlying problems like keypresses being served to every application which makes it exploitable for a keylogger.
