I developed a PeerTube-browser project. Or it would be more correct to say that it is an ongoing process. It is basically a tool for browsing PeerTube videos from all over the PeerTube network, and it displays the content in a familiar YouTube-like user interface with a bunch of features like searching, filtering by categories, tags, languages, and even a kind of a personal recommendation system.

I consider myself a content creator and while I was discovering PeerTube for the first time, I encountered a fundamental discovery problem with it, and with the help of AI, I am trying to solve this problem with this PeerTube-browser project.

I really like the idea of the Fediverse, and I really like creating stuff, including content and, recently, a software. So I'm kind of a person who is aware of those two sides of the river. I would really like to collaborate with someone, even more if it brings in some income. Anyway, I'm working on this project just for the sake of my personal interest.

The web app is temporarily down, because I'm on the stage of fixing major issues. You can check out the source: https://github.com/denikryt/PeerTube-browser

I have also developed a Discord Fediverse bridge application. In short, it is software that makes it possible to follow Lemmy communities and display their posts and comments in Discord forum channels. And it also works both ways. So you can create posts and comments in the remote community, as well as create a community that can be followed from other instances in the Fediverse. I'm writing from this bridge : ) Source: https://github.com/denikryt/discord-fediverse-bridge

Interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing your project! I'll note the features you've mentioned, the LSP should be a really handy one : )
The declaring of inline functions i.e. creating nodes in the root node group is something I feel is lacking in my project right now. Would you make a post about the addon somewhere?

My goal was to think about nodes as functions and operations that could be described with simple Pythonic syntax. Every node is a function with positional arguments as socket inputs and a return value as a socket output. The mathematical operation nodes could be described as simple operators like + - // etc. The links between nodes are described as simple variable assignments and passing variables into functions and so on.

Basically, the idea it to think about Geometry Nodes setup as a script and reduce the Blender API Geometry Nodes boilerplate, while keeping it possible to address a specific node when needed.

I also put a bunch of work into the Extension API, which makes it possible to extend the functionality of the DSL with additional third-party libraries with its own defined methods and logic and use them in a familiar way.

I'd be happy if you tried it out! 🌽

Yeah, I mean, people share information and explain things to each other. LLMs make those interactions much more accessible and in many cases effective as well. So what is the point of interaction with humans online, for example? Is it the validation that comes from organic human minds?

Hello! I’m excited to share that I’ve built a service that bridges Discord forum channels with the Fediverse, particularly with Lemmy communities!

In short: with the bot, you can either subscribe a Discord forum channel to an existing Fediverse community, or create a new federated community and assign a forum channel to it. Posts and comments are then synchronized between Discord and the Fediverse via ActivityPub.

Please note that the project is at a very early stage.

You can try it on your own on a dedicated Discord server I created:

    https://discord.gg/8WXE9bZhbP

If you find it useful or interesting, or if you have any concerns about it, I am open to your feedback. Financial support for further development would also be very appreciated.

I have also created a dedicated community for this project, so you can write something there and the messages will be synchronized between Discord and the Fediverse:

    !discord_fediverse_bridge@bridge.nachitima.com

To learn how the service works in more detail, you can read the README on the repository page:

    https://github.com/denikryt/discord-fediverse-bridge

And by the way, this post was created in Discord 🙂
