A meta analysis from 2022 shows that the remission rate of untreated depression within 3 months is only 8 to 18% (source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34583099/), so I would still say that it is unlikely that you will do better in the short term if you don't seek treatment.
This is very likely depression. Go see a specialist. This will unlikely go away by itself.

Yes, I was particularly wanting that, as this would be a phone to have for years to come. This is a real bummer.
