I'm changing this from a weekly to a daily protest. There's nothing more I can say that hasn't already been said. I'm also not going to post on here anymore. As much as I feel an obligation to do something and organize, I cannot handle the cynical chronically online internet commentator culture that I have to keep subjecting myself to every time I log in here. If you're willing, go out and protest. The locations are all on the side bar. Obviously nobody on here actually seems to care if the terrorist forces known as the US department of war invades us. Just pretend it's still 2012 and keep using your US smartphone to tell me how Canadians protesting won't accomplish anything and how sad and pathetic my posts are. I hope they come for YOU first. When you're strung up in a US gulag, think back to how desperate and pathetic you thought my posts were. Better off being tortured than fighting back, huh?

Let me just start by saying, I HATE AI. I will never use anything AI, post anything AI, when I see something AI generated I block whoever posted it. So before any trolls comment on this talking about AI, fuck your AI. I hope every data center burns down.

Anyway...

I honestly hate that I have to keep doing this every week, but the US and their criminal pedo gangster president just won't stop with the bullying and the idiocy, so this Sunday will be another protest. We just can't let them get away with it all without at least displaying how much we disapprove.

This protest is technically just against the annexation threats and insults, but we all know there's so much more to be angry about with this administration. That being said, the PMO is actually talking out loud about potential US invasion. That is absolutely nuts and I think justifies this type of protest. But that's just my opinion. What's your motivation to protest against the US?

I was once very pro-American, I live near the border and used to go over there all the time, my hockey team was an American one, but boy have things changed for me in the past year or so. It will take a lot of ass-kissing, after the disgusting leathery-skinned predator is dead, for me to ever consider spending another cent on an American product or service as long as I live. And it won't be just me, I have kids, and they will learn to never use or buy anything American either. Only thing that might change that is if November sees a blue wave, and idiot cheeto-face is impeached, removed, and imprisoned before April. I won't hold my breath on that.

Also, if anyone out there decides to go to one of the listed locations, and you, or the group of you decide it makes more sense to stand somewhere else, like across the street or whatever, by all means, stand wherever it makes sense to. These locations are not set in stone, they're meant more as a meeting point for people in the local area. I simply scouted them all out using maps and street view. Tried to keep it all on public property and out of any roadways. If you're there, then you're in charge of that location, so do whatever you need to do to make it successful. This protest is about as de-centralized as it gets. I'll also be working on improving the way they're listed on the sidebar, but I don't have a timeline on that.

Tell your friends, stay safe out there, and if you do go out and protest on Sunday, please post some pics here!

As soon as I saw there were no microphones to record his idiotic talking, I knew this would happen. I literally thought "He's going to pull an Ontario News Now after banning the real press."

I wish I had a way of knowing. Unfortunately this operation is just me at the moment and I'm not really a social media / online forum person. If I had volunteers to help organize, make posts, videos and whatnot it might be more successful. If news media covers at least one person protesting at the border against annexation then I'd consider it successful.

If I had a nickel for every time I, someone who is radically against using AI of any kind, was accused of posting "AI slop".

Where do you get the idea that this is "so much AI slop"?

    I'm genuinely curious.

Lol. What are you, like 14?

First of all, flaunting your ignorance to the point of repeatedly getting the dude's name wrong when his name is IN THE TITLE OF THE POST is very much not the flex you think it is.

But hey, I'm feeling generous, so since in your infinite hours of being chronically online, you don't have a minute to search the guy on a search engine, I'll help you out.

He's the guy who made the Unplug America website, a list of Canadian alternatives to American tech, which is where I learned about the existence of Lemmy, Ehnow, and others.

Other than that, I don't really know. He's got a lot more internet clout than I do, which is why I thought posting his video might give the links I was trying to post more credibility. Haven't heard of EhNow? Ok, here's a video about it. I'm not chronically online to the point of being too cynical to talk like a human being, so I don't know much more about him. You're going to have to do at least a little bit of work yourself if you want to know more. Sorry if that's too hard.

The most laughable part of that last comment is how you just assume that I'm "Tom" which only adds to the cringe and secondhand embarrassment I feel for you.

"I've never heard of this guy therefore he's YOU! Giving him a dumb little nickname makes me look smarter! k bye"

I can think of another dude who gives people dumb little nicknames whenever he's upset. Can you guess who I'm talking about?

Jesus christ I can't remember the last time I've cringed so hard.

The pedocracy is still bullying us, so it's time for another protest. Sunday September 20 at all locations, ideally the busier ones should be prioritized.

This will never be the 51st, 52nd, or any number US state. NEVER EVER.

If I had the money, I'd make one of those giant billboard-y signs, the kind you see US lawmakers hold up with big graphics on them, with have the infamous pic of Trump with Epstein, or maybe a sign that reads "How are things in our future 11th province?" Bullhorns are a great idea too. Just sayin'.

Remember to be safe. Americans all have the right to a gun, and while they can't be bothered to use that right to put an end to the dictatorship, you can sure as shit bet they're dumb enough to carry them over the border, and unless the border guards catch them, they could potentially bring them here. I don't know how guns work at the border but plenty of people get let through without them really checking anything. Who knows how many Americans have come and gone with guns without anyone knowing? My point is, show them your anger, but don't give them reason to attack. We know the Americans will do plenty of attacking without reason.

Anyway, it seems like most Americans are fed up with their president and the monsters who prop him up. But not enough to actually put a stop to it. They all have guns, what are they waiting for? It pisses me off. Let's let them know what a bad job they're doing at doing ANYTHING to stop it. Before they make their way into Canada to take up all the parking spaces at Swiss Chalet, give 'em a little reminder how pissed off we are at the way they voted, and how they're all just going about their days and visiting us as if we're still allies, instead of rising up against the regime.

I will not tolerate annexation threats from the United States and I will continue pushing for people to protest until they have fully retreated and conceded. If the Americans truly are against their current regime, wouldn't they be doing more about it? I know I would be.

tl;dr next protest is Sunday at the border and I'm still pissed off at America's bullshit.
