I think that they are in a good place financially. I seem to remember a page on their site that showed they are above water, although without a terribly big budget. I bought my first domain many months ago, and thought about moving it to disroot, since they do catch-all emails out of the box. But, still going to wait for them to get their disk situation ironed out.

I will say I had a ticket open and reached out to mappeth via xmpp, and it was a positive interaction. So, I'm still leaning towards disroot as a matter of just helping the scrappy little guy.

Thanks for the input. I am very slowing migrating all my technologies from Apple to Linux/self hosted. Mail and photos are some of the last things I am trying to do. For photos, Immich most likely but I'll need some new hardware. For mail I've been leaning towards Purelymail.

It look over 10 years for the Apple amoeba to engulf me, so I'm taking my time climbing out of it.

I also recently purchased a domain name, and set-up paid e-mail account(s) at Purelymail with that domain.

How is Purelymail so far? I finally bought a domain name months ago, and haven't settled on a e-mail provider yet. And are you using a catch-all email address?
