Dems can not get Trump out. They would need 60+ in the Senate for removal. They would need at least 5 Rs for that. Impeach him one more time by all means but he WILL stay President.

Dems should focus instead on passing legislation, blocking all Trump appointments and reversing every single EO from the White House.

The US isn't making Iran have the death penalty for adultery.

The US isn't enforcing Irans draconian moral laws and the US didn't murder Jina Amini in a prison cell.

The mullah regime manages to be terrible all without the US/Zionist interventions.

The way to remove them is not a bombing campaign, but if they all died of turbo aids tonight I'd do a happy little dance.

Everyone's shit here and the primary victims are the Iranian people.

No. Democracy is definitionally "Vote what you want to vote for."

Ideally people vote for what they think is best for the country/the world/your peers.

But part of democracy (and a rather important part) is that NOBODY GETS TO TELL ANYBODY WHAT TO VOTE FOR AND WHY (within the legal confines of what allowed political expression is). So yes. A lot of people vote for what they think will be best for them. And people often make fun of people that vote for things that will be bad for them (see the whole leopards eating faces meme culture).

So "voting to benefit one self" can not be a crazy concept to you...

The down votes on this are insane to me. He just gave the original definition of the separation of church and state.

Every elected representative should only be bound by existing laws and their own conscience. That means that if someone chooses to listen to sky daddy or the flying spaghetti monster while in elected office, that's up to them. It sucks, but you can't have a democracy in which you tell people what the basis for their decisions must be. If the people elect an Astrologer to office that person should be free to base their decisions on the movement of Jupiter through Sagittarius or whatever.

Democracy is designed to empower the statistical average will of the people. Not produce "best" (by whatever measure) outcomes for the country. Just what people want.

The bust is off Gaius Julius Caesar, the man who, using his massive popularity after a series of successful conquests, did a little coup to become the first emperor of the Roman empire (Roman Republic up to that point and formally throughout his reign).

Contemporary sources say he was an excellent orator and commanded absolute loyalty from his men and some famous Latin quotes are originally attributes to him (eg "Aleia iacta est" - "The die is cast" when he initiated his coup by trespassing his army into the de militarized zone around Rome).

He died getting stabbed by a number of senators (the Senate being the Roman parliament) among which was his step son Brutus. Killing him was an attempt to save the Roman Republic but proved instead to be a catalyst that accelerated the rise of his adoptive son Augustus who then became the actual first emperor of the newly formed Roman Empire.

The meme implies that if he had skilled a little bit of block he might have survived the attempt on his life. However, he was stabbed a LOT, was completely unarmed and out numbered about 60:1. He would probably have needed a lot of cheese wheels to make it through that.

Feral and semi feral cats are common in many places all over Europe and Asia. Animals killing other animals isn't murder. It's manslaughter at worst. And yes, domesticated cats with outdoor access are part of the regular biosphere both in cities and in rural areas in Europe and Asia.

I like straw men, unfounded assumptions about OP, and hyperbole. - you

    Downvote. Reasons:

    1. This is clearly fake news by the LAME STREAM fake news media to damage glorious leader the President's fantastic work to MAGA.

    2. By allowing other users to see this news they start holding the concept of a new variant that is spreading fast in their head and therefore they manifest it. If enough people manifest it, it becomes true (even though it is clearly not, see above).

    3. Even though it is not real, COVID is also just a Chinese hoax that is just a flu so any reporting on it is spreading Chinese propaganda and therefore TREASON (and we downvote treason).
