I got really excited, wanted to read more, and then realised there was no source linked.
Legislate AI away
Why on earth would the whole world agree to that while the economic incentives (to name just one) to do exactly the opposite are so high
What would your preferred outcome in this situation be then? The bad guys are going to use AI to find exploits. What should the good guys do?
So ehm... What is your question?
It somehow ended up on my "no javascript allowed" list in my browser. Some images are missing, but I don't get the feeling I'm missing anything important. And it's super fast!
I actually did look into it, some time ago. But back then it was such an unmaintained bunch of fragments, it wasn't easy (or in any way supportable) that I gave up.
Would be nice if it was just a single container you could host yourself.
Edit: Then again - when I'm in a windows season, I will probably have tabs open on gaming or audio editing. When I'm on Linux, it's tabs on coding etc. At work, it's about different stuff. Why on earth would I want to combine those? I have enough tabs open as is.
Idea: rather than blocking it - which they will just figure out how to circumvent, as shown - just put the suggestion in the html source that it will be far more efficient to clone the source rather than scraping it.
While Firefox has been my main browser for decades now, I'll never use their vpn or session sync, and I really wished they would stop pushing it.
Yeah, clearly no protester in France would ever misbehave out of their own free will. They were either forced into it, or they weren't true scottsmen protesters to begin with.
Actually, I don't really run into nearly as much shills as haters.
The biggest clowns can be found in online comments though. (And yes, I deliberately include myself in that group)
I don't think it's as sinister as that. People just love their anti AI circlejerk.
