It's actually really easy nowadays. There's specific setting in the sandboxed Google play for ICC identification (needed for RCS) and activation/it getting it to work is trivial as long as you use Google messages.
The native RCS app is something they want to do but is far out.
/proc is quite useful when it comes to hiding root on Android.
Wells Fargo let's you log in. I use it on a daily basis on my Pixel 8 Pro with GOS.
Moonfin is also pretty great on Android TV too imo

Outside of buying a supported Pixel device and flashing it yourself? Not that I'm aware of.
