Exactly. The stupidity of the Republicans only serves to highlight how savage the unbridled capitalist system in the U.S.A has always been. Deep down, the Democrats support the same thing, but (being savvier) they know how to disguise it.

The goal of the blues is the same as that of the reds (to increase social inequality), though the latter are clearly more crude than the former. They only differ on cultural issues, in order to give the public the impression that they are vastly different.

Politics in America is theater, a WWE game, which is why the two-party system is referred to as the Uniparty.

It wouldn’t be much different from any other celebrity declaring who they’re going to vote for.

Different social classes, within the same country, have different interests. That is where the root of much conflict lies.

Most of them are completely opposed to voting. They are trying to exclude only a portion of the current electorate, as it is more difficult to convince a significant part of the population to support the total abolition of elections.

    Just make it random.

Parliament should be a representative sample of the population. The best, bias-free way to achieve this is through random selection. If that sample turns out to be mediocre and unable to make any meaningful decisions, it is because the population itself needs to improve. Time to invest in education.

Because they're trying to suppress the public reaction.

You won't hear about this on prime-time TV news, and it’s even censored on some more popular parts of the internet, like Reddit.

In a Christian state, kissing in public is also prohibited. People in the West have forgotten this because, here, countries are secular, even though Christianity is the dominant religion.

For example, in my country, Portugal, before the Carnation Revolution of April 25, 1974, which introduced secularism, kissing in public or even holding hands was prohibited. The penalty could range from a simple fine to imprisonment. There was even a crime of "vadiagem" if you were caught in public, say, in a park, doing nothing during standard weekly working hours.

The previous regime in Portugal, the Salazarist Estado Novo, is generally described by historians as a quasi-fascist, Christian-Nationalist regime.
