You should only invest in things you understand!

When you buy a stock you don't just give said company your money. You actually own a piece of that company. When said company has more money than it needs it could pay out dividends to its shareholders. And then you get your percentage of that total dividend.

How often these payments happen depends on the company and if there is a crisis they will stop completely.

ETFs are basically groupings of things. EG there are ETFs that follow the MSCI World, but theoretically there could be an ETF for "Italian companies that sell green Keyboards" or any other rule/grouping you could think of.

If you buy ETF you buy a share of said ETF. So not any stocks of random companies. The ETF then uses your invested money to invest according to what it specified in its description. When those Investments gain money your share gains value, when they fail your share loses money.

There are 2 types of ETFs: accumulating & distributing. They distinguish what happens with dividends. (& have other implications e.g. with taxes)

I think if you buy less then 1 share you dont actually own a part of the company. Someone owns the share of which you bought the part of and that someone then has to give you your part of the dividend they received from the company.

But that Ignorance is how boomers got us into this mess, no? And ignoring issues because you can't do anything about them is what the elites want you to do, no?

Yes I am doing the same currently, but I feel like I lost to the system. I still have a bit of hope that something will change soon, but what if it doesn't? And will it change without me? Every other thing I have to do myself or it just won't happen, why would politics be different?

Your assumptions about me are off by a lot. (Except for me thinking of a small population, which made me reflect, thank you)

I did improve my social skills by forcing myself to talk to people for half a year every Thursday. Someone telling me that "beeing social" is a skill would have helped me.

And it's obvious you believe it helps some people if I say "be social". Why is an advice "not beeing helpful" to some reason enough not to say it?

The thing with is: if you have passion for something you want to let others experience these feelings as well. And i dont need to know someone to tell them about my passion projects and they only need the tiniest of positive response for me to enjoy helping them... I hope you have something you are passionate about to understanding what i am trying to convey. The crucial part is the "i dont need to know someone well to enjoy helping them" and i know for a fact that a huuuge percentage of people share that mindset. Sooo:

I know there is someone in your life that would love to share their passion for cooking with you!

And btw: suggesting there is someone in your vicinity to help you with your problem leads to them masking around for help leads to the person broadening their circle which makes it evermore likely to find someone which actually wants to help.

Qobuz sadly has no Linux app, so you have to use wine or the like. And the web Version lacks the features i use in the app quite regularly. (e.g. radio around a song, daily mix). But they apparently (recently ?) added the feature to control the web Browser Version via the app, so i can select the radio on phone and tell him to play it in the browser. Its a workaround for sure, but its good enough for me :P

You can compile and run your own clean room designed version as well :) Getting the actually leaked code could be a bit complicated (but torrents should exist)

Edit: nevermind, just saw the archive.org link for the source in the conmentsection here. So finding the actual source should be easy as well

Found in Tirol, Austria Some were growing right out of the spruce cones The younger ones have really vibrant red/orange-ish caps and the older ones were still a bit red but way more Brown.

My short search didn't give any results even though i think these ones look very identifiable. (I havent seen many with such a thick stem and red/orange color i havent seen on this kind of mushroom either)
