At 5 foot you won't hit your head on the bottom which is mud anyway. These news articles certainly imply that they just forgot how to stand.
Explanations such as? People don't just jump into 5 foot deep water and forget how to stand up.
Seems like the UK's equivalent to "fell out of a window" in Russia. There's tons of news stories exactly like this, foul play is ruled out instantly, no explanation is given and it's never mentioned again even when they say there's been an investigation.
So you'd rather believe that canals in the UK have some magical ability to make a person to forget how to stand up?
I don't know, ask the journalists that dreamed this story up on Chat GPT.

If my posts help others question our corrupt media, then so be it. This is also a new story from 3 days ago.
The same witnesses who ever so conveniently didn't say why the man didn't stand up, even though they were watching him? Not all news stories are real, and for all we know, these witnesses were all made up.
The same civilians who ever so conveniently never saw why the man didn't stand up?
Not all news stories are real, for starters. These "witnesses" might have not even existed.
At 5 feet deep you wouldn't hit your head on the bottom, and the bottom is mud, so not exactly a hard surface to bang your head on.
I'll continue making these posts as long as the UK media keeps churning out fish-stories like these. If it makes more people question our corrupt media that likes playing mind games, then so be it.
This particular news story is 3 days old.
That's what I was thinking too, the UK media has really been at it with these kinds of stories this year.
If my posts make more people question our corrupt media, then so be it.
The locals literally said it's only 5 foot deep.
