If there's not a Canadian streaming option, there's always piracy. I'm not so much doing "Buy Canadian" as I am doing "Buy Not American" or not buy at all.

Relationships went on too long and decisions were taken I didn't agree with, because I didn't know how to say no. More than that, I didn't know or respect my own needs, having suppressed them to get along for so long. Took a mental breakdown to change things around.

Now I'm working on recognizing and respecting my own wants and needs. Not minimizing when I have a preference that isn't being respected. No more "oh I can tolerate this" - more "let's change this now".

    Russia has been:

    • Trying to blow up airplanes in Leipzig.
    • Diverting Ukrainian drones into neighbouring countries, flying some of their own in also.
    • Hiring idiots through Telegram to do tasks for Russian intelligence, ranging from taking pictures of sensitive locations all the way to parcel bombings (sometimes the idiots get blown up too, massive win for Russia because then they don't have to pay).
    • Multiple occasions having battleships point guns at boats, fighter jets buzzing, intruding on airspace in the Baltic countries, basically whatever provocations they can get away with "I'm not touching your nose!" style.

Plus since 2022 basically Russian propaganda has been telling Russians that they are in a war with NATO / the West.

OP, have you considered if you have ADHD? Having trouble handling multiple priorities and finding it difficult to break down tasks, as well as not enjoying the present, those sound like ADHD things. Potentially - could also just be a difficult time you're in.

My limiting belief is thinking that people will react negatively when I say no (plans, taking on more work, free samples even). Most of the time, they move on and forget about me. Their day isn't ruined because I failed to please them. So I'm trying to say no more often, and when saying no, trying not to explain myself unnecessarily.

It's a shame - so many beautiful places in the land currently held by the Trump regime. But I'm not visiting the Grand Canyon and so on until I know my money won't go towards taxes funding fascism. And until I know my USA vacation will not turn into a El Salvador vacation.

Trying loperamide (generic name for Imodium) to help with IBS. When I have to poop frequently and it always feels like there's more in there, it can ruin my day. So I finally went out and got some of this stuff and it seems to help.

I suppose I have IBS - got tested for everything else and it all came back negative. Thankfully, I'm not celiac as I love bread. Got blood tests, ultrasound, colonoscopy (horrible to prep for that), everything seems OK. Doctor shrugged and told me, "it's IBS I guess".

Hoping to learn to manage it because I'm trying to get in shape. Not being able to eat because I feel disgusting is derailing me.

    Happy pooping, everybody.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the discussion and suggestions! It's eye-opening to see how common it is to have a shitty time shitting. You all are helping me feel less isolated and ashamed of my condition.
