The Fifth Season (first book in the Broken Earth trilogy) by N.K. Jemisin. It's fantasy but with pretty logical boundries on the supernatural elements. I love the writing, plot, character development, and world-building.
I've made pancakes with maple syrup and chili crisp and it was delicious! Highly recommend.

- Give That Wolf A Banana by Subwoolfer (not really werewolf, just about furries)
Yes, but additionally I started getting actual random vibrations from my phone with no notifications. After a while I discovered that if I put my phone on a library book, my phone will buzz. I tested it over and over before believing it. Guess it interacts with the electronic tag the library uses for checkouts.
