wave your arms is the air and yell "I am not a threat!" Seriously though, probably make a fake phone call, or look at my phone if she looks visibly nervous. I walk in the evening sometimes and have encountered other folks. I usually just walk straight ahead and don't make eye contact.
I'm reading A Lion among Men. It's not as good as the other books in the series but I hope it gets better. Also listing to Home Before Dark on Libby. It's pretty good so far. I'm about half way through it.
I only buy books from thriftbooks. Haven't seen any slop books there yet. And there's just something about a well worn book. They are just more fun to read.
stuff like this is going to lead to a lot of husbands becoming "suddenly ill" after eating dinner. in biblical days, women had ways of getting out of abusive relationships.
I'm in Tennessee and probably the only socialist for hundreds of miles. Completely surrounded by maga "christians". Needless to say, I don't have a lot of close friends or family. Almost everyone I know thinks tRump should be king for life. god's chosen, and all that nonsense.
so you're saying I shouldn't PAY to watch this movie... wouldn't want to give my hard earned money to anyone taking advantage of such a situation.
lol, the government is monitoring EVERYTHING. That's what all the data centers are for. You can't take a piss without big brother knowing about it.
I only check FB at home. I have a separate Firefox profile just for it. Using Pihole. I almost never see ads. Maybe one or two will slip by. But I only spend maybe 10min on the site. 1-2 times a week.
Nice! That one Weird Al song will be relevant again! Unless it's exactly like it was, HTML and all, I'm not going back. I still have my old profile in a zip file somewhere on my NAS.
In my experience, most servers encrypt the data transmitted. So, they can see you are connected, they can see how much data you are using, but they can't see what that data is. For all they know, you are downloading every Linux ISO in existence and nothing more. In the US at least, unless a service accepts cash or bitcoin (some do) it's not really anonymous but most are pretty secure. I've paid for usenet for probably 20 years now. No issues.
I've used Android since the dawn of time, and i never knew this feature existed! Thanks! I work in IT so this will be helpful if I need to use a work app and hand my phone to someone else. Idk how I missed this feature for so many years.
Adventure Time. Wild crazy adventures, all sorts of interesting creatures. Artisan pickles. You would never be bored.
