I thought the whole point of ICE was Neo-Nazi violence.

Yes, that's also the whole point of much of the American project.

However, there's currently a veneer of "law and order" credibility that an unfortunate number of morons buy into. This sort of thing contradicts that narrative.

It really is interesting to see how people keep drawing lines around the "acceptable" and "unacceptable" amount of fascism in the US when like, that's the entire point of the whole fuckin country. Why is the veneer here and not in like, the 70s or 2002?

Neo-nazis "fear" neo-nazi ads could incite neo-nazi violence.

I think it’s safe to assume that ICE knows exactly what it’s doing: recruiting reactionary workers, who lack class consciousness and are ripe for class traitorhood.

Reading through that bulletin is an eye-opener. Here's a particularly funny part:

This bulletin is not intended to imply ideological alignment between the DepartmentofHomeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (CE), and white supremacist ideology. At the time of publication, available reporting does not indicate that white supremacist threat actors have infiltrated or are coordinating with personnel from either agency

They could all be wearing swastika tattoos on their fucking foreheads and they'd still be going "Nazism? What Nazism?"
