What's the difference between eating fresh roadkill and eating freshly hunted animals? None.

One massive difference is that a hunter will have observed the animal for things like ataxia or chronic wasting (prion) disease. Don't eat roadkill, it's stupid.

I've ran over kangaroos in the past and eaten them.

One time we had one jump through the rear passenger window and kill itself and land in my brothers lap.

    Good feed that day

The practice of eating animals killed on the road is usually derided, and most people consider it not to be [...] wholesome.
