Accidental for the cops. The photographer and Lady Liberty there knew exactly what photo they were going for, and the cops predictably gave it to them.

Copper cuffs copper.
Is it me or are most US cops switching from handcuffs to "zipties" now? Did they run out?
What the hell is going on over there lol
When they want to arrest too many people they use zip ties. They still use cuffs and generally overtighten them as a form of punishment when individuals are being arrested.

Cheap and light, and apparently around since 1965.
The US summarised perfectly.
Why is she being handcuffed?
It's the LAPD. I'm not sure even they know the reason.
What's the story here?
The lady showed up to the No Kings protest prepared to be arrested and dressed for the part, and the photographer was looking for a great shot to match it. The cops, being complete idiots, decided that they would handcuff lady liberty, never considering the context of the situation or that they are, in fact, the bad guys of the photo.
This is the article it likely came from, which gives sparse detail (archive link, I couldnโt access the original)
Oh my god, yes, finally... been dying for a new AccidentalRenaissance ever since I left Reddit
This is what someone sounds like trying to justify a nightmare regime with zero understanding of history. Hope you get wise someday, but I know you're the kind of bootlicker who will never get it.
Am I reading it wrong? I understood their comment in the complete opposite of how you did.
Note NK stands for No Kings not North Korea as some got confused.
North Korea?
No Kings, it took me a few seconds too
...and, even if we accept that to be a generally true statement, you think that warrants arrest?
AccidentalRenaissance? Here ya go
