This particular article does not say that. It says it hasn't been able to rule it out. Which honestly doesn't make a lot of sense, you would think we know who flew where and dropped what at a specific time and place.

US has longstanding tradition of protecting themselves, and of course bibi, from such options. This evil, and head of state assassination, was entirely intentional in order to ensure Iranians were more united to fight longer, and no option for ceasefire would exist. The ever more desperate shifts from reality in Trump demands seems like worrisome dementia or Israel handling inconsiderate of US sustainability.
