Municipalities in Brussels municipalities are considering measures that would restrict the use of e-scooters in areas that are affected by drug dealing. The exact nature and extent of the measures have yet to be finalised.

Bizarre that drug dealers would favor shared e-scooters which are tracked in realtime and tied to the identity of the user. And bizarre that because drug dealers use them, that then justifies banning them. Would be great if the drug dealers switch back to cars, then lawmakers ban cars. Oh, but lawmakers drive cars too? Guess we can’t get carried away with this logic.
