  • @noybeu @mcp It was expected. It was announced in Mario Draghi's Report.GDPR could protect us from the AI Act. That's why it's under attackzenodo.org/records/14002329

  • @noybeu I am not surprised at all this comes out 5 days after Markus SΓΆder - PM of Bavaria, Germany proudly announced on LinkedIn that Munich is planning to become the AI powerhouse of Germany. I'm beyond appalled by CSU and CDU and the way they've been selling out people's best interest for big tech and big corps. Germany is becoming a Trojan horse in the EU, and a powerful one. I'm concerned.

@noybeu Question: who does the EU commission represent?

@noybeu This Commission proves over and over again that they are authoritarian Β΄fascists, declaring war on democracy, our rights and freedoms.

I typically don't consider myself a #roleModel. But in this case, please follow my "lead" and become #supportingMember of @noybeu. I'm a so-called #gold member, but there are various options:noyb.eu/en/support-usThey do amazing work with our #money!#privacy #GDPR #digitalRights #donation

@noybeu they went to great lengths to reign in the tech companies with the new digital rules. Then the lobbyists decided to use outside pressure. Trump starts threatening and the EU bends the knee. As UK citizen I was gutted by Brexit but now I see the EU is drifting away from its original charter to do the bidding of billionaires.

@noybeu can we get rid of the cookie banners now?

  • @noybeu β€žMax Schrems: "What these changes seem to overlook is that most data processing is not AI-based. The potential change that would "liberate" AI would have massive unintended consequences for many other areas of the GDPR. The protection for health data, minorities or employees would also be killed in this draft. Large parts of the online advertisement business may be able to bypass GDPR duties, because of the considered changes."β€œ
