I am sick of buying non-rechargeabe non-disposable lithium cr2032 batteries. Too many devices require these batteries then suck them dry in no time.

The rumor is that rechargeable versions of these button batteries exist. Anyone know where to find them in brussels?

Not in Brussels, but from what I recall rechargeable coin or button cell batteries exist, but are usually much lower in capacity. Like 25% of the disposable ones.

I think BigClive mentioned this at some point; they’re not really a form factor that supports recharging. You might be able to get away with it with some devices but things tend to be picky about voltage.

Edit: I was mistaken, but not entirely. CR2032 are not the same as LIR2032; the chemistry is different and therefore the voltage is quite significantly different - up to 4v. The rechargeable LIR batteries have something in the neighborhood of 17% of the capacity of a CR2032 and may suffer in the cold.
