This is inevitable after the lukewarm feedback from the alpha and the plagiarism sitaution. The whole internet is basically out for blood.

Honestly, I think the fact that Marathon is in a niche genre means it is going to have difficulty attracting casual players.

I hope they can add a single player campaign which will make it more appealing.

We've entered a new era of postponing the release date for releasing the release date. Doesn't bode well.

    I don't think this can be salvaged at this point. Original Marathon fans don't like that it doesn't stay true to the source material. Everyone is mad about the plagiarism. Bungies track record is kinda shot after Destiny 2. I think the only people they could attempt to appeal to are hardcore destiny 2 fans.

    I don't see any future where this game survives when Arc Raiders exists. Its kinda reminding me of Overwatch vs Battleborn tbh
