KDE is part of the #EndOf10 campaign and we are on a mission to convert as many users over to Linux as we can.kde.org/for/w10-exiles/This is the perfect time to ditch Windows and get the new and shiny Plasma 6.4 for your machine!Check out the upcoming events where you can get Linux installed on your computer:endof10.org/events/@kde@lemmy.kde.social
Thanks to kde and steam proton I switched to Linux a year ago and haven't touched windows since.
Finally, Spectacle has all the features that I have missed from ShareX during my Windows days. Much love to the developers, you are the best!
Been a KDE fan since the late 90s! Keep up the good work, y'all!
Nothing but love for the KDE team! I moved to KDE during roughly Plasma 5.1 days. (Always wanted to love Plasma 4, but just... it was Plasma 4)
Not once have I regretted it, and Plasma has been on every computer in my house since then.
❤️❤️❤️ to the KDE team!
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social One feature which made me switch to KDE is the password dialog which describe what exactly asks for the password. Not perfect but better than other DEs.
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Thank you guys for the great work!
Thanks for making the default lock screen slightly less pink! ❤️
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social So... I can finally get rid of those fugly sound indicators again - hopefully. If so: Thank you!
@kde @kde@lemmy.kde.social Once @archlinux @archlinux gets Plasma 6.4, I'm updating! (I already have most of the changes via the KDE Frameworks updates, but) Plasma 6.4 looks REALLY GOOD! Well done to the KDE team!
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Watch all the memory hogging bling bring your reasonably modern computer down to slug speed...
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social love the new release. Any idea why I am missing the wallpaper settings for the time of day? I am using Garuda Linux.
That’s really great to hear. KDE just keeps impressing me. Plasma 6.4 feels so much smoother and genuinely more inviting — it’s like your desktop actually wants you to enjoy using it. Big respect to the developers for putting so much care into the experience.
It's gorgeous! Today I upgraded to Fedora 42 with Plasma 6.4 and it runs smoother than ever
how KRunner now understands color
Smh. I don't want my KRunner to see color.
