LG were ahead of their time. They really weren't afraid to try shit.

That looks way less practical than that flip-up prototype they were kickstarting a while ago that was clearly inspired by the Xperia Play. The dpad looks way too close to the bottom, and the slider sticks don't look like they have enough room to move around in this one.

I designed one of these that works with an XBox controller. It was clip-on, but would be easy enough to make magsafe with a $0.20 magnet ring.
