Climate.gov, a federal website, used to provide a bridge between climate data and the public – with graphs, tools, and blogs to help people understand it.

But last year, the Trump administration took it offline.

Rebecca Lindsey was the site’s project manager when she was fired as part of a DOGE-led purge.

And the loss of Climate.gov has made it harder for teachers, journalists, elected leaders, and others to find reliable climate data, lesson plans, and resilience-planning tools.

So now, Lindsey and others who worked on Climate.gov are bringing those resources back. They’ve launched Climate.us, which features graphs, explainers, blogs, and links to other resources.
