Accrescent depends completely on donations to run. Today we share a significant update in our new blog post on the future of Accrescent: https://blog.accrescent.app/posts/the-future-of-accrescent/.

@accrescent@infosec.exchange you only accept github (microsoft) and crypto as donation. This means I either don't want to can't donate. Why don't you setup another way of donation which is not crypto nor github ?
Not sure there are many people like me so idk 🀷 if this is worth it

    @blueluma@mastodon.social We'll look into it! We only supported GitHub Sponsors at first because it doesn't have any transaction fees (so your full donation goes to us) and to simplify keeping track of donations for us, but since other options have been requested, we'll consider them.

    @accrescent@infosec.exchange @blueluma@mastodon.social I know some options that other open-source projects use are Open Collective and Liberapay. I believe these could be worthwhile checking out!

    @accrescent@infosec.exchange @fonos@mastodon.social @blueluma@mastodon.social Yes, I’ll be interested to make a recurring donation as well, but I don’t really want to go through Microsoft GitHub (no account their for ethical reasons). Liberapay for example could be a solution (depending on the payment method fees are nonexistent). Crypto is not a problem, but I find using it for recurring donations more bothersome that fiat currency-based methods

    Anyway thank you for all the work you put in this awesome project!
