Driving off someone from being online, as a troll, because it gives you a thrill.

This is an awfully specific flex, but it is a flex nonetheless, that people do feel to boast about. Because it's just another form of a power-trip. Congratulations, you've driven away someone who could've been a contributory member of a community to make yourself feel better by orchestrating lies, performing witch hunts and huddling with your troll buddies in ways to figure out how to process this.

There's nothing prideful about this to flex over.

It's a "discount" grocery store that runs mostly on low cost house brands. Some people view it as beneath them for this reason. So someone who is an absolute brand whore, like my mom, and thinks that if something isn't expensive it's junk...likely wouldn't shop there. But since she eventually checked it out she's hooked on a few specific items and will pick up a fair amount of other stuff and brat as though it's some well-kept secret
