And why would he need to be interrupted in the middle of a very important kindergarten reading session to be informed of something that he already knew about?

Why do family members call each other when they get home from travels? They know the plane is going to land safely at the airport.

Maybe your family does that. Mine doesn't. Out of sight out of mind. I don't care if anybody lands in their airplane. 99.9999% likelihood that their airplane landed just fine & their lives continue with fewer unnecessary interruptions without calling everyone they know to inform them their friggin airplane landed.

OK sure. How about receiving confirmation that the event that is about to shape the entire century has happened? I'm not asking about your family, I'm asking you to consider people's motivations of their actions based on more relatable situations.

To know that nothing stopped the thing he thought was going to happen, from happening.

Why did a secret service agent interrupt Bush's important kindergarten reading session to tell him that airplanes plowed into the World trade center WHEN BUSH SUPPOSEDLY ALREADY KNEW ABOUT IT. That's what we're talking about here. I'm saying Bush DIDN'T already know about it, that's why his secret service agent whispered the news in his ear, cuz it was kinda a big deal.
