Looking to offload Plex from my gaming PC (lemmy.world)

I am looking to basically just transition to a small time, forever on, server to support my growing Plex footprint. I don't need anything top of the line, and I've already crimped my lines to the room.

What's the most cost effective way to go about this? Figured i would come to the pros.

I cannot vouch for this because I literally just found it two posts down after reading this one, but the developer of the JellyBox music player has a relay plugin for Jellyfin. It seems to specifically exist for the music player, but that's still useful for some people: https://github.com/JellyBoxPlayer/jellyfin-relay
