I had one that was mostly fine with my plants but then decided to eat the new frilly one I'd planted which got her the name "Bad Bad". She ended up laying a few clutches of eggs but they weren't viable. It was really cool to watch her laying them
But I love snails in the aquarium. They're one of the first things I throw in there to get it started, all of the "pest snails." Malaysian trumpet snails are amazing because they burrow so they mix up the substrate and they also exhibit parthenogenesis and don't need to mate to procreate. They are also live-bearers so the little bitty baby snails just crawl out of the momma fully formed, but tiny!
