EDC Sewing Kit? (sh.itjust.works)

Looking to make an everyday carry sewing kit that I can have in my backpack for emergency sewing jobs. Other than a needle, thread, and scissors of some kind, any other suggested items and why they would be needed?

A thimble because pushing a needle through tough fabric can be painful on your fingers.

I have a little knipex plier wrech in my edc kit that works nicely for grabbing or pushing a needle. The gripping parts (???) are flat so they dont mar the needle.
