Surely this title is ragebait? No way thats an actual opinion you can have?

Just thinking about tight any clothes makes me shudder.

I guess some people don't act.

Its not about them being “new”, but the title staring they are comfy. My sister used to wear em while i felt like i was in hell trying to find a pair that didn't sufficate my legs.

I just took it as pure fashion, same with high heels. Perceived beauty over common sense.

Probably relevant is that i am also the type of autist who buys 10x the same “good” clothes and has to remove all the itchy labels.

Ah, my bad. I'm with you, but I recently thrifted some skinny jeans, not because I like them but they were in my size and I want to experiment with bleaching jeans. I was shocked to find they are comfy because they are mixed with stretchy fabric.

Skinny (but not super skinny, rather 511 Levi’s) jeans are the superior cut of jeans. My wife convinced me to buy a pair of baggy skater jeans and they’re fine for around the house but I just can’t stand the way they make my legs look lost in them, and I’m not exactly a small guy.

I like skinny jeans, actually, as long as I'm standing up/walking the whole time they're on. Then they're cozy, don't get caught on things or drag on the ground, and keep the cool breezes from running up the leg. Just don't sit down...🤣
