    With each passing day I relate more and more with Cypher. When I saw the movie as a teenager he was just your typical evil villain, but these days I absolutely get where he was coming from. I too want to be a rich man living in 1999.

    He was a pitifully weak, extremely selfish traitor, lol. He was a villain then, he's a villain now. "I'd rather sacrifice humanity's chances for freedom and true living so I can be comfy" is extremely close to the MO of every IRL powerful villain!
