Don't buy Phillips. They're awesome, clean better, but I owned two and both broke within 2 years.

Oral b is more reliable.

If you don't mind buying them regularly though, Phillips

That's interesting. In my experience, Sonicare fared far better than Oral-B. Philips seems to have better design in that the the brush part that goes in your mouth is isolated from the motor fluids. I had OralB leak into the brush head because there is a hole for whatever reason. ๐Ÿคฎ Technically, my oral-B still works, but at that point I can no longer use it.

Every oral b I had has lasted longer.. For me, I always got the diamond clean as the charger is a glass.

I have one of the IQ now. One thing that is bad though is that the app doesn't connect and offer what it promised anymore

I've heard bad things about the DiamondClean. I got one of the cheaper models and haven't had any issues.

I read reviews before I bought mine, and IIRC, early failure was a common complaint about the DiamondClean. I was interested in it because of the charging glasses, but decided to get a model with standard chargers instead.

Probably not as much. Costco returns are their own warranty in a way.

I had a medium sized appliance from Costco and it died 6+ months outside its two year warranty and they took it back and refunded no questions. I've contacted companies and felt the seriousness immediately rise in their customer support if they learn I bought the item from Costco and am threatening to return it because they get stuck for some of the cost for that.

The only thing about Costco returns is you need to save all accessories. They can be real sticklers for that so they can send it back to the manufacturer but if you retain all the original accessories (for example travel toothbrush cases and cables) they'll pretty much always refund. If you junked any accessories, even minor ones they may refuse. Retaining the box is also a plus and I'd do it where I can.
