Ho hum... the white liberals are trying to distance themselves from their (more honest) fascist cousins again - this time using "sCiEnCe!"

    You sound desperately confused.

    Or maybe just desperate

As confused as a liberal that refuses to understand why the pretend-democratic blow-up dolls they keep voting into power never raises a finger against fascism?

    That confused, lib?

You mean the libs pushing progressive candidates who are polling better than Republicans in the midterms?

You seem to be assuming that every liberal is a neo-liberal. That's an incorrect assumption.

Which (so-called) "progressives" are you talking about? Those pretend-left edgy liberals who co-opt and deradicalise leftist thought in order to protect the liberal socio-economic status quo from working-class dissent? The ones who go "No we shouldn't" straight after promising "Yes we can," perhaps?

Are those the ones you are referring to?

You seem to be assuming that every liberal is a neo-liberal.

Were you under the impression that liberalism's core tenet - the private ownership over the means of production and almost everything else by a capitalist elite - only stems from the 70s and 80s?

No, Clyde - that is what liberalism has always been about since the very start.

The only thing that differentiates neolibs from other kinds of liberals is that they are perfectly candid about it.
