I don’t think you’d let a cat loose outside with that thing on. Danger of him getting stuck on something and never coming home. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 point 1 week ago* (2 children) i have had a couple cats that loved being outside but only when i was out there with them. they may have been using me as protection from the bully mockingbird that lived in our yard, i don't really care. i got cat time. my current soulcat, when she's outside she climbs up to the top of the house and then meows that she's hot (she'll come down for a bowl of ice water but not a treat. she's such a goob). i guess i'm trying to say it's up to the cat whether i'd trust them in it. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] danc4498@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 child) True, if they know their cat won’t go explore. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 point 1 week ago or where specifically they explore, and know those places are catcostume-safe. that's a word now. permalink fedilink source parent [–] BarrelAgedBoredom@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 week ago The video I linked is ai, and it bears resemblance to the images posted permalink fedilink source parent [–] bequirtle@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago an AI video? image artifacts aside... the cat wouldn't actually leave a clean trail like that permalink fedilink source parent [–] nxn@lemmy.zip 6 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) Yeah these are definitely slop. The angles in the mirror reflection make no sense. The corner edge of the reflected wall wouldn't be perfectly parallel to the frame of the mirror since the mirror is standing at an angle. The way it is now would only make sense if it was painted on or if the mirror itself was exactly perpendicular to the floor. permalink fedilink source parent
