This likely shouldn't change your plans. The Conservatives here are not great, but they aren't nearly as bad as republicans most of the time.

It will also likely only be 4 years. They are likely to shit the bed and get voted out.

The one saving grace is that the BCCons spent two years fighting over each other that they haven't sat down and made (or had written for them by wealthy interests) an evil policy document like Project 2025, which had we seen this result in 2028 they'd have more time to prepare. We can still protest and push back against many of their developing ideas for governance.

I am bracing for destructive policies but we're going to have to move forward and do what we can to limit the worst damage.
