I guess that's why I'm curious. Again, I'm not trying to shoot it down or be a buzzkill, but yeah most of the time I see people talk about these, it has to do with comfort and a shared symbolism. It honestly may just be that I'm too old to empathize with that, or just that I've never been all that comforted by plushes like these.

Edit: This isn't to say that it is "immature" to be comforted by them, more that I just haven't had that inclination in a rather long time, and likely have lost connection with it.
