if that's all the definition of a pet, then sure yeah. But its like saying a car is a chair because you sit in it.

    Which is also objectively correct. Automobiles (with seats) are just extremely complex self-propelled chairs. Fighter jets are very fast self-propelled chairs that can shoot missiles.
