Literally had to mute a guy in discord who had us as a captive audience in a raid. Listened politely for the first few minutes but I couldn’t concentrate after a while on the game I was there to play. Dude was obsessed with AI.

cool, love when that’s the go to when thinking of neurodivergent people 😑

doubly so when the meme is “neurodivergent queer”

I’m not sure what you are saying. The man was monologuing about niche subjects for several minutes. Our raid lead couldn’t make calls. It was a worthy mute. I have no opinion about people’s special interests, but that behavior is completely rude. We didn’t consent and it spoiled the game.

just that we’re trying to be happy neurodivergent folks here, and society writ large loves the bring up white autistic men and their shitty behavior as if that’s all there is to neurodivergent people

Gotcha. I was just commenting directly on the topic of the post not trying to over generalize neurodivergent behavior. Like is it a thing people do? Yeah. Is it something everyone does? No. Is it often fun? Yeah. I think my experience was also 1000x worse here because fuck AI let me play my game lol.

100% get ya on that experience & fuck ai 🤘

I’d take a peek at comments in this post, they’re celebrating infodumping with cool and willing participants 😄

edit: i don’t want that construed as negative, trying to focus more on autistic joy :3
