I read that last year; I was also pleasantly surprised, but still found it kind of overhyped. Like, it's very readable, and I enjoyed it, but I wasn't scrambling for the next book at the end. (I did start it this past week out of curiosity, though, as I've heard it gets wilder. We'll see.)
