Screenshot of an email from JetBrains. It reads in part: "Hi there, With the 2026.3 release in November, Air will ship as part of JetBrains IDEs. Air is a new window for the agents and subscriptions you already use. It is not an AI provider, and it ships with no agents installed. If you do not want this experience, you can disable the plugin, and your IDE experience will be unchanged. Why. Agentic development is becoming the norm, and an IDE that keeps agents at arm's length won't stay relevant. Air helps us shift the center of gravity of IDEs. Learn more here."

So what, they turned Fleet into an agentic coding IDE and then turned that into a plugin? That's pretty tragic, I'd been following that project for years
