From a parents point of view I’d imagine I’d be pissed if someone was giving out full size chocolate bars to kids for Halloween

Regulate sugar intake for children. Big bars equals big sugar. Halloween must already be hell for it, big bars compounds the pressure.

The way my parents did it was collect all the candy, put it on a high shelf, and let us eat one a day.

I think that's a good idea. Then again my dumb ass would climb up there when no ones looking. And yes I've done that as a kid except it was my grandpas work table and I was fascinated with all the tools and parts he had.
