Right?? 20 should be the optimal time to have kids. We should reorder society around that.

I know someone who is 40 and their mom is 80. Its not ideal!! Actually it sucks!!

    I don't know why the downvotes. Mid 20 for men and women is the best time to have healthy children and be active, good parents.

    It's when people would naturally have kids if capitalists held up the social contract and a single income with a degree or after 5-10 years experience was enough to buy a house and start a family.

    Maybe they thought I meant that current 20 year olds should get on to having kids. I don't believe in any sort of obligation like that, its pretty impossible right now unless you are wealthy.

    Nor do I believe there is anything wrong with older parents. Nor do I believe anyone should feel obligated to have kids.

    It should be easy to have kids at 20, though, not life ruining. I agree with you 100%
